Join the Mates of the Whisky Museum and learn how we are progressing with the plans for the New Whisky and Heritage Centre.
This is a free event for all Mates of the Museum. The Spring Gathering is an opportunity for Mates of the Whisky Museum to get together and enjoy a few canapés and a dram or 2 as a prelude to the Whisky Festival. This event is free to all Mates and if you would like to come to this event and you are not a Mate, you will need to join the Mates of the Whisky Museum. Please just book a place on the online booking system and one of the organisers will get in touch. The annual membership is £10.00.
For potential new Mates. The project was launched in 1999 and a small, but successful Whisky Museum was opened in 2003. Many of the exhibits were from the Dufftown Distilleries. The lease on the building ran out and the Museum had to close. In 2010, Dufftown 2000 acquired 10 Conval St and in January 2011 Dufftown 2000 managed to purchase the adjacent property, 12 Conval St. Plans are at an advanced stage to develop these 2 buildings into the new Whisky and Heritage Centre.
All funds raised by the Mates go towards the Whisky and Heritage Centre Project.
Open to Over 18's only.
