Strathisla Distillery by Train 2

Strathisla Distillery, the home of Chivas Regal, nestles in the valley of the River Isla in the market town of Keith. It is reputedly the oldest continuously operating distillery in Scotland, dating from 1786. The official bottling of Strathisla single malt is at 12 years old whereas the Chivas Regal blend is available at 12, 18 and 25 years old.

Travel with the Keith & Dufftown Railway, ‘The Whisky Line’ to Keith and visit the Strathisla Distillery. You will leave Dufftown on the 14.00 train to Keith Town Station where you will be met by a KDR guide who will take you to the Strathisla Distillery. At the distillery you will be introduced to your guide for the tour of the distillery; included are a couple of drams.

Following the tour you will have time to explore the delights of the Distillery Shop before making your way back to Keith Town Station for your return trip to Dufftown. The train leaves Keith Town Station at 16.50.
